TOUR DESCRIPTION:
HALF DAY: Visit the world-renowned
Cathedral Grove, a pristine temperate rainforest
located in the lowland of Mt.Arrowsmith, walk
through towering groves of ancient Douglas Fir
Trees home to one of Canada’s oldest and
largest Fir trees. During your tour, your guide
will give a full commentary on the rainforest
flora, fauna, and history. After touring Cathedral
Grove we will travel to the North Island Recovery
Center. This unique center is home to recovering
wildlife such as black bears, bald eagles, Canadian
geese, and much more. Volunteers and staff have
dedicated countless hours to insure the recovery
of our wildlife before returning them to the wild.
We will enjoy our snacks on the beach picnic site
at Cameron Lake after Cathedral Grove.
FULL
DAY: Best of the Best! Some as above
and more! Pacific Rim National Park, Wild Pacific
Trail and Cathedral Grove. We will also visit
the towns of Tofino and Ucluelet. This day tour
is the ultimate way to see the Wild West coast!
